Maxi-Cosi Mico Pro — expiration
Infant car seat.
Maxi-Cosi ties the Mico Pro to a 8-year useful life — mico-series infant car seats. Read from the Mico 30 Infant Car Seat instruction manual (doc 4358-8113, 11.10.20); the identical sentence appears in the Mico Max 30 manual (4358-7953, 5.27.20), the Mico XP / Mico XP Max manual (4358-8074A, 9.3.20), the Mico Luxe manual (4358-8317A, 9.21.22) and the Mico Pro manual (4358-8663, 4.16.25).
Do not use this car seat more than 8 years after the date of manufacture.

Read your label against the formula
Find the date of manufacture on the seat's label, then add 8 years — the same month. As Maxi-Cosi applies it:
| Manufactured in | Reaches its stated life in |
|---|---|
| 2019 | 2027 (same month as your label) |
| 2020 | 2028 (same month as your label) |
| 2021 | 2029 (same month as your label) |
| 2022 | 2030 (same month as your label) |
| 2023 | 2031 (same month as your label) |
| 2024 | 2032 (same month as your label) |
| 2025 | 2033 (same month as your label) |
| 2026 | 2034 (same month as your label) |
Where the date is on this seat
It varies by line. On the Mico infant seats (Mico 30, Mico Max 30, Mico XP / Mico XP Max) the date-of-manufacture label is on the back of the seat shell. The Mico Infant Car Seat Base has its own label on the top of the base. Pria convertible and all-in-one seats put it on the side of the car seat, and the Magellan XP on the side of the child restraint. Maxi-Cosi's support page generalizes to the back of the seat, which does not hold for the convertible and all-in-one lines.

Recalls
