Evenflo Symphony — expiration
All-in-one car seat.
Evenflo ties the Symphony to a 8-year useful life — the Symphony car seat line, named as the exception in Evenflo's FAQ answer "How long is the life span of my Evenflo car seat?" — the page whose 6-year default Evenflo's March 2026 article contradicts; Evenflo's own tiebreaker is the date on the seat you ow.
All Evenflo car seats expire 6 years following their date of manufacture, with a few exceptions: the Symphony car seat line expires 8 years after the date of manufacture, because it is an all-in-one car seat with extended use from infant seat through belt-positioning booster.

Read your label against the formula
Find the date of manufacture on the seat's label, then add 8 years — the same month. As Evenflo applies it:

Where the date is on this seat
Per the Symphony All-in-One owner's manual, the model number and date of manufacture are found on the back of the child restraint; the manual's cover shows the label fields "Model / Made in / Expires on". The manual states no number of years.
