Britax ties the Marathon ClickTight to a 10-year useful life — retired ClickTight convertibles that Britax's expiration guide does not list — the Marathon ClickTight and the Advocate/Boulevard ClickTight, read from their own Britax user guides (rev. 05.22.
To prevent injury due to deterioration or hidden damage, discontinue use of this child seat if it is older than ten years or has been in a moderate or severe crash (see below).

Read your label against the formula
Find the date of manufacture on the seat's label, then add 10 years — the same month. As Britax applies it:
